taltastic - XSLT based tal processor Taltastic is an XSLT tal processor, capable of transforming appropriately annotated XHTML allowing insertion of dynamic content into said XHTML. This process is designed to take only a single pass of the XSLT parser, with no need for intermediate stylesheets or caching. Taltastic is a faithful and nearly complete implementation of TAL, TALES and METAL in pure XSLT. Data is inserted into the templates from a number of sources, either statically, by using a new tag, or via the xpath document() function reading XML from user defined streams. This project includes some PHP code which is capable of transforming native data structures into an XML equivalent which can then be passed to the transformation. I hope that in time, other implementations can be made in other languages. The code in this project is in an 'alpha' stage of development, although it now implements all of the core target features.
